Services

Since 2004, Dr. Lamb has provided evidence-based psychological services for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety disorders, OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder), panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), specific phobias, trichotillomania, and other body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs).

Whether you are seeking individual therapy, family therapy, or parent coaching, treatment is collaborative, structured, and grounded in research-supported approaches. Together, we identify the patterns that maintain anxiety and build practical skills to increase confidence, resilience, and distress tolerance.

Telehealth and in-person therapy services are available.

Individual Psychotherapy

Individual therapy focuses on helping you understand and interrupt the cycles of:

  • Rumination and excessive worry

  • Obsessive thoughts

  • Compulsive behaviors

  • Panic symptoms

  • Avoidance patterns

Treatment includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and acceptance-based approaches.

These evidence-based interventions help you:

  • Reduce anxiety and compulsive behaviors

  • Increase emotional regulation

  • Improve distress tolerance

  • Face fears gradually and effectively

  • Regain confidence in daily life

Therapy is goal-oriented, skills-based, and tailored to your specific anxiety or OCD symptoms.

Family Therapy

When a child, teen, or adult struggles with anxiety, the entire family system is affected. Family members often try to help by providing reassurance or accommodations—but over time, this can unintentionally strengthen anxiety.

Family therapy helps:

  • Identify anxious thought patterns

  • Reduce accommodation behaviors

  • Strengthen coping skills for each family member

  • Improve communication and confidence

  • Create a plan for facing uncertainty together

  • The goal is to help families move from managing anxiety to building resilience and long-term independence.

Parent Consultation & Coaching

Parenting a child with anxiety, whether toddler, school-age, teen, or young adult, can feel overwhelming.

Parent coaching provides:

  • Education about childhood anxiety disorders

  • Tools to reduce reassurance and accommodation

  • Practical strategies for emotion regulation

  • Guidance on helping your child face fears safely

  • Support in building your child’s confidence and independence

  • You’ll learn how to respond in ways that strengthen coping skills rather than reinforce anxiety.
